With an organised defence we would have won 3 or 4 nil last night. That’s the impact of Olise & Eze - we should have been out of sight when they went off. That we scraped home 3-2 and were set up to fail at the back with players out of position - that’s the impact of the manager.

They have won nothjng away from home and have 11 points. They are sh!t.

I was at the game. We had them pinned for most of the game until the manager decided we should shut up shop.

When they scored after TWENTY FIVE SECONDS- helped by our out of position RB forgetting he wasn’t playing central- their fans sang - we’re winning an away, how sh!t must you be? We’re winning away.

If that doesn’t land with you. Then nothing will.

After 25secs we lost the game no we won when i last looked at the score line, and was on top they had very little chances after that , wood work has saved teams we have played but god forbid them hitting our wood work , all i hear was we was lucky not us unlucky when we done it ,
If you go to the game thinking we are going to lose your view of the game will be negative no matter what ,
After 50+ years of supporting this club i have never gone to a game thinking we will lose and never will , i done 3 seasons not missing a game when we was in the 3rd division and 2nd division , thats home and away and cups , so enjoy the wins dont look for reason why we did ,
we have hopefully 2 attack minded players signed and maybe a loan coming , see what happens when we go all out attack so you feel happy with us getting trashed because we dont have anyone back defending , look for the positives not negative's or you end up like you

Also both games theyve played at home together this season weve scored 3 goals in both games.

People have short memories, we did this every season with Wilf in the side, atleast now we have 2.
Subs were the obvious subs to make when you are 3-2 up in a must win I am afraid, as much as I would like to see franca play it just wasnt realistic last night. The game plan was clearly to hang on after the eze and olise went off and I am totally okay with that considering we arent actually any good without them
3 points was more important than the performance tonight. Saturday however will be a completely different ball game.

I disagree, even though we brought on defensive players to hold on to 3 points it was unbalanced and nearly cost us. Franca for Eza would have balanced us better with Schlupp for Olise. Pleased for the 3 points but still worry where the next 3 are coming from. Surprised Henderson got the nod to start as well?

A welcome three points, Eze and Olise superb, Hendersen worries everyone, think Johnstone must be leaving this window, poor decision to drop Clyne for Richards, IMO, Richards has done well in DM role, Lerma is the worry for me, poor player, Richards, Hughes, Ozoh and hopefully Wharton better than him, dont sell Mateta, i would like to see Morgan Whittaker on loan to buy before deadline shuts, and Reiss Nelson as a 6 month lone, cant afford to take a chance with O or Es injury.

We just about scraped past a really poor team. On the other hand Brighton were absolutely spanked by a team that were written off as relegation favourites. It should make the game against Brighton very interesting.

Luton have found an aggressive way to play in the PL that gets them points. Looking like more points will be needed to stay up than was thought a few months ago.

Franca has played about 70 mins since signing, I really want him to play but it just wasnt realistic in a close game to lob him on. I dont think schlupp should be anywhere near the starting 11 but I dont mind him as a sub.
I agree about Henderson, still not as confident as I am with Johnstone.

My biggest worry would be andersons form - first goal last night him and Richards positioning was awful, like they thought they were still playing as 3 CB's.

I reckon it’s between us, Luton, Everton and Forest for the third relegation spot. We should have enough to stay up, but we must start defending better. Luton have made their home ground a bit of a fortress but they are useless away. Everton may still be deducted more points. Forest are very average. We are by no means out of trouble.

You know what Painter I think I have been, there is no denying Olise is something else he is most probably a better player than Wilf was but without the attitude.

But if you were there last night, and I’m sure you were that was not an easy watch and we were clueless!

It was a great watch, a competitive game with individual skill, not quite sure what you are expecting!

Talksport last night were saying Palace basically have nothing to offer without Olise and Eze. They are also injury prone, so if they don't play where do we create anything from?
Have to hope they can both stay fit for the remainder of the season.
