I consider it extremely improbable Mossad were unaware of the proposed attacks. Where it goes from there is pure speculation. Israel incompetence or design. Ali could have concluded with persuasive argument the latter (either way is arguable) but have phrased it differently and without stepping into antisemitic tropes. Untrained off the cuff naivete he is too daft to represent anyone. He may be a rabid antisemite but this comment did not reveal it. Storm in a teacup like most of these issues.

I thought exactly that, Mossad is the equvalent of the C.I.A and internal affairs (F.B.I. equivalent) are dealt with by Sinbit (I thought it was sin bin for a week.) Chances are on 7th only about 20 people in Hamas knew and the rest were merely sheep getting swallowed by the adrenaline buzz. And yet we are meant to believe they can stroll up to the border, cut a few wires and are then able to pour in as massacre 1300 people without Mossad/IDF being aware of it? Mossad can and do kill Iranians scientists on a regular basis. Mossad can and do hijack all kinds of computers with viruses. The entire state of Israel has military service for its entire population. And yet October 7th just happens? Nah. It does not add up. And has to be seen in a completely different context to the kind of terror attacks you have listed. October 7th means Israel is either run by incompetent fools. Or people with a ruthlessness that is beyond comprehension. The only two options.

There is direct equivalence between suggesting the Israelis allowed Oct 7th with suggesting the European Jews allowed the Holocaust. This is sailing close to being a criminal act under UK Law

Ok I will accept there probably was intel about something or even an attack. The border with Gaza is some 30 miles long. How were they meant to cover every yard with protection enough to stop it. It appears some parts were defended heavily by the IDF and civilians. Others not so or very lightly. Once these lightly defended areas were overrun that gap just got bigger for Hamas. It would be impossible to predict where or how many. The finger of blame lies with the terrorists and sad as innocents dying is it is a war now so collateral damage is impossible to prevent. The hospital the IDF are in probably does have hostages and Hamas in. Mossad and the government would have this intel as well but Hamas will milk their innocence seeing how ‘soft’ the rest of the world is to coin a phrase. Don’t forget the sole aim of 30% of the Muslim world is to rid Jews from the earth, then it’s us!!!

Last night on BBC QT one audience member was complaining the problem is the definition of anti-semitism currently being used. That would be the one that the Corbynites did not accept and Starmer is using. What the questioner really meant in my opinion was that the definition needs to be loosened so she and her ilk can go back to being more openly anti-semitic.

Back to the election, looks like Starmer has given up a Labour seat until the general election. I hope George Galloway wins, he was right about the Iraq war and at least is consistent over the years. Never gets old watching him giving Paxman a kicking Edited by HKOwen (16 Feb 2024 9.24am)
