If GB News fails it will have nobody to blame but itself.

Every broadcaster has to accept Ofcom oversight and if they fail to meet their requirements then they are going to be in trouble. Advertisers, who they need to survive, don’t want to be associated with untrustworthy businesses.

If they cleaned up their act, ensured editorial control over output was maintained at all times and removed partisan presenters then the advertising would come back.

There is clearly a gap in the market for them that they are capable of filling without breaking the rules.

Freedom of speech does not, and cannot, imply the right to say whatever you like wherever you want. That particularly applies to mainstream TV available to all without a subscription.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Blah Blah Blah!

GB News is subjected to constant attacks by left wing activists.
It is their mission in life to silence all opposition. They are eagerly supported by the leftist mainstream and assorted useful idiots.

Ofcom is just another tool to control thought.
