People must wake up to the fact that we are now dancing to the tune of foreigners.
Our politics is now about who is the most racist. Apparently, the Tories are now a party of 'Islamophobes' just as Labour is/was antisemite.

Our landmarks are being used for Leftist/Islamic propaganda, and meanwhile, Parliament is suspending people for being honest.

Talk about a complete indifference to events and the feelings of a large part of the electorate.

The rather sad reality is that the majority of the country is left wing....when you look at the right across the board it amounts to 33-35 percent of voters. The left are considerably more than that.

It's one of the reasons why I long ago mentally accepted that this country needs a long and hard taste of the left in charge. That the right in this country actually need to go back to being right wing instead of actively looking for acceptance from a 'centre' or more moderate left types....all it results in is becoming them and accepting their social liberalism.

Instead the right need to actually stand as the opposite to what's coming.....What we have had from Camerson, May, Johnson and Sunak has been zero conservativism.....it's been nothing short of an embarrassment watching them use that name.

Mediocre politic like Starmer and Cameron try to occupy the middle ground to get votes. This of course involves them twisting themselves in knots to appeal to all people.

Heavyweight politicians move the middle ground to their position e.g. Margret Thatcher. When she came to power the Tories believed in nationalization and state intervention. Not only did she move UK politics to the right but also the world as country after country including China adopted her policies.

We need another Thatcher like politician on the right to combat the nonsense of the left.

I think something like that is what is going to happen.

However, the economics of our situation are very different to then though.

History doesn't repeat but it rhymes as they say.

As I don’t watch GB News or take much interest in anything they do I am coming late to this thread. Which is supposed to be about a Tory MP I had never heard of but seems to be much more about Mayor Khan and repeating once again all the familiar themes that occupy so much space in these pages about the perceived threat of Islam.

Racism is racism, whoever is the target, be they a Jew, Christian or have a coloured skin you disapprove of.

My understanding is that Mr Anderson said this:-

“I don't actually believe that the Islamists have got control of our country, but what I do believe is they've got control of Khan and they've got control of London, and they've got control of Starmer as well."
He later added: "People are just turning up in their thousands, and doing anything they want, and they are laughing at our police. This stems with Khan, he's actually given our capital city away to his mates".

Is it racist? That seems doubtful to say the least.

Was it stupid, insulting and divisive? Unquestionably so.

If Reform accept him into their ranks they will suffer badly from it. Comments like that haunt those who utter them.

More stupid than the names given to the London train lines? Nothing for the Irish who actually built most of the London transport system while the Lionesses who I'm pretty sure never so much as swung a pickaxe are included?

Yep, the pre-existing names made logical sense.

Khan just politicised the Tube, placing something into the culture war that never needed to be there.

Once again that has nothing at all to do with what Mr Anderson said.

There are millions of stupid things done every day.

Khan is in charge of the Met, the Met has allowed many demonstrations to clearly break the law because they did not wish to offend or be seen as racist.

That is what Anderson is referring to and I don't think it racist to say that Khan clearly plays to a certain element in London.

Sadly, we live in an age where everything said and done is checked by the new great and good. I do my own checking whenever I am away from home (I want to get beck home undamaged). Like many, I had an education that enables me to diffuse situations. I do sometimes feel that I am on holiday as I listen to people that do not speak English in public. Being on holiday should be relaxing. However, we have to be careful that we do not upset the locals. It is easy to get the feeling that I need to be constantly on guard.

Please stay safe people.

You may be right about that, but I think that many traditional left wing voters have far more in common with your Lee Andersons than the modern left when it comes to immigration and the perceived Islamification of Britain.

It is quite obvious that Anderson is not accusing Kahn of being a radical Islamist but suggesting that his actions and words are designed to placate Muslim voters and by doing so give them influence over the politics of London and therefore the country.

How can this be denied? It is a predictable development when our politicians allow London to become a White minority city.
