If we are going to win some of our last 6 games, Eze and Olise are obviously key, the problem is how to fit them into Glasners formation, i understand he has his ideology, and if we stay up a lot of Squad changes are needed to fit in with his system, But, surely he has to be a bit flexible for the last six games:

Mateta
Ayew Eze Olise
Wharton Lerma
Mitchell Andersen Ward Clyne
Hendersen

This has to be the best way of getting the best out of what we have to get points, its a bit Vieira at the moment Square pegs, i think Glasner, long term we be great for the club, i hope he gets the chance to prove that next season in the Premiership with the players to fit his ideology.

Given Ayew’s penchant for blowing hot and cold this season, especially since his return from Afcon, I think a period on the bench should be considered. He spurned a certain goal yesterday with JP and Eze lined up for the tap in and just stood around watching as De Bruyne ran passed him twice to bag two goals. Until then we looked as though we could get a point or three.

Mind you, Eze was no great shakes either. To beat The Scousers next week the whole team needs to be on their game and work for each other not moping around with their hands in their pockets. It would also help if an Arse / Citee supporting ref is appointed rather than the Manc (I see no penalty) we had yesterday.

Think Ayew was a favourite of Roy (not without good reason as he is/was a valuable player) and owed a lot to him. He may be more sceptical of OG and his approach. It seems to be the same as in any other organisation. Those who were favourites under the old manager are reluctant to accept the new one, those who saw no future under the old manager welcome any new own.

He isnt going to change his system, he has spent weeks implementing it. Changing, will show it doesnt work to the players, he cant do that.

Ayew will always drop to the bench when Eze and Olise are fit. Love him as I do, he isn't good enough to be starting week in week out.

It’s hardly surprising we’ve had a tough season, with injuries meaning Ayew is a 1st team starter.

As for OG’s tactics- still to be convinced this system works for Eze.

I know he isn't, lets hope it doesn't cost us dearly
