Try Creative Scotland funding p*** when it faces major budget cuts. I used the BBC as I would not be believed if it was the Mail. Creative Scotland has replaced the Scottish Arts Council which was mired in scandal after scandal and nothing seems to have changed. So yeah people do waste public money. Oh alright here's the Mail with a bit more on previous idiotic decisions by CS. Edited by Badger11 (26 Mar 2024 11.24am)

You are not though responsible for taking the decisions so not either on deciding whether it's a waste of public money. Auditors will do that.

It might just involve how to avoid people becoming homeless in the first place, through studying the origins of prejudice and how it has transferred into modern life. I am stretching and guessing of course but we don't know and I prefer to leave things to those who do.

You aren't just jumping to conclusions having been led to them by the Mail? I am perfectly sure that there is loads of technological and medical research being undertaken in Universities in Scotland. Why should there not be some into social issues? Do they not matter?

Yes I'm sure the life of a working class Scots family will be changed with the knowledge that Daniel Defoe had some very outdated ideas about island people. And don't pretend that the outcome isn't a forgone conclusion.

Indeed, but presumably better spent on identifying social issues in Scotland rather than the Pacific, or are there no social issues in Scotland?
