The thing is that Southgate being decidedly below average as a manager put in charge of players capable to winning tournaments has been obvious for years.....but he's the PC choice by the type of people who rule today's game.

And what was Pickford doing coming to the half way line to take a free kick only to pass it 5 yards to Walker to kick it out of play?!
