Perhaps wanted as squad option? Bit expensive for that. Maybe OG can get a decent tune out of him. I am trying to disguise my disappointment with a thin veneer of optimism.

I was a bit unsure about this one but am coming round to the notion that he might actually be quite a good signing for us. He's absolutely rapid for one thing and his career scoring record is 111 combined goals and assists in 20940 minutes, meaning a goal contribution every 188 minutes which is pretty good. No reason to think in a confident team that helps him thrive, he shouldn't improve on that as well. Most importantly, Dougie has apparently liked him for 6 years and I'm increasingly of the opinion that he doesn't get many of these wrong so, if it happens, we should trust him.

Not a great comparison between the two because he loses out on every other metric but he's not a complete write-off as an option.
