yeah Dan, i noticed the name when i first saw the article and linked him to palace.... i also remember hearing the name when i was at trinity....

this isn't all bad news, libya is a close neighbour of us, and in the past there has been a lot of shi*, but nothing on Gaddafi himself has been proven, maybe down to his fundamentatlists or secret agents but never has his command been implemented, i think he is genuinely trying to improve foreign relations. So if he can (and a big if) be given benefit of the doubt, this fukcer is seriously rich, I mean bramovich rich, and his family are for sure football fanatics, his son used to have trials with Juventus, and was even in Malta a few years back. If it was saddam I'd say go fcuk yourself,l but there really could be something in this.

also he's not all cnut. He's quite a charitable bloke, setting up and donating to many charities, lives humbly, often shagging and sleeping in his tent, and face it, he's never been associated with genocidal acts. I'm probably in the minority, but I say go for it, I'll forgive for whatever he's done, if he gets us into champions league

This is by far and away the most unbelievable thing i have ever heard about palace. Whats next? My mum called me at work to tell me so i had to come on here to see if she was taking the piss! As worrying as this is i think we should wait for the club to release a statement as surely they will in the morning.

Also, and I'm putting the cat right amongst the pigeons here, did he actually order the carrying out or even aware beforehad of the Lockerbie outrage? I could be wrong and will gladly apologise, but I thought his crime in relation to that event was his unwillingness to give up the perps, admit Libya's involvement and pay compensation, three things which he has recently put right.

Yep he certainly did. he only cooled his heals when we put a cruise missile in his lounge and killed one of his kids! and 'then' he gave in and handed over the bombers, conditionally I might add! In a dutch court with scotish judges. So we'll have hi m owning our club then shall we?

Very good? Whether or not he is a kunt or not aint really the issue. Is he guna take the club forward or just use us as a tool to improve his image?? I really think that if this is true it can only be a bad thing- look how many people have stated on this thread they r gona stop coming if he takes over, or that they would rather as be poor and relegated!
