It to me is a great book but totally unsubstanciated with the knowledge and proof that we have nowadays to do with the big bang and evolution. Science does not claim to have proved the big bang. Science has theories, religions have faith.

i believe in evolution but I don't believe in god or the big bang theory. i'm completely happy to believe that we are not here for any reason and we owe absolutely nothing to anyone.

So Stu, the being you believe created the world and you can't explain where 'it' came from. Kind of blocks the argument from the beginning in my opinion. (I hope all opinions on here expressed can be taken in the context of the argument and not to have any affect on anything else. Thanks)
