You reap what you sew...membership of the EU opens up this country to legitimate immigrants who seem to be the next group in working in service industries - example - in the City the bar staff consist largely of Eastern Europeans. So what - Brits don't want to do this kind of work for the wages on offer. But for every legit hard working immigrant there seems to be a huge number who are here simply because they have the right....and clog up the NHS, draw benefit from a scheme which they have contributed nothing to...nobody should be surprised by this, we've all stood by and let it happen....

What about these arabs that come here and buy Harrods and then have the cheek to only pay 25 million a year in tax, when they clearly have more money because they plough it into football getting Fulham promoted from the old 2nd division all the way to the premiership. Bloody disgrace and don't get me started with those eastern european russian yugoslav types coming over here and getting chelsea to win the premiership. Mind you when I migrated to Oz you got Kylie in return you can't complain there.

Anyway, people who flee wars is one thing .. most immigrants here are Moroccans, Turks, Rumanians, Albanians, Polaks etc.. as far as i know there's no war in any of those countries.

There's nothing wrong with that - we should do the same. And they are skilled workers. There's a reason why Australia is a better standard of living!

We're in the EU now mate so I take offence at that. The official term is now 'economic migrants' Besides this is the fact that a hell of a lot of Poles died defending British shores and interests not so very long ago...Only to be sold down the river to Stalins red monkeys - giving us 60 years of commie bollocks and poverty as thanks for all our efforts. If anyone has a just claim to reside here its us.
