I would say it was written by someone who has a dislike of the English because (as some Americans are) he/she is jealous of our history and tradition of which they have none and would love to have a fraction of what we have.Either that or they are of bitter Irish decent, there's a few in the states that still have a problem with the English. Before anyone comes out with any pathetic racist accusations I will point out that I personally have no problem with the Irish but the dislike that some Irish Americans have for the English is undisputed fact. Especially in New York.
