The great Lobo wasnt really a Palace man. We were just fortunate to get him at the end of his career. Ian Wright was a Palace/Coppell product and can justifiably be claimed as one of ours and was a class act.

For anyone who never saw him play you would probably struggle to imagine just how good Johnny Byrne was. When it comes to forward play only Don Rogers and Ian Wright come anywhere close. Your Johnsons, Morrisons and Freedmans are journeymen in comparison.
