Best CPFC goal you have ever seen?

Off the top of my head would go for Dougie Freedmans goal against Sunderland the year we went up. Absolute beauty!

far too many to mention,but I'll mention a few anyway just off the top of my head.....

1)Billy Gilbert-long range effort V the spammers,75 yards out,but thats only because It gains 5 yards every time I tell it.

2)Ian Wright-lob on the turn from just inside the half way line against wimbledon at plough lane.

3)Geoff Thomas-free kick against saints at the whitehorse end

4)stan staunton-a curling lob from out on the touchline v tranmere

5)Carl Fletcher-this is out of respect for a player who I think we should have kept and It sticks in my mind,his net buster v hull a couple of seasons back.

6)Ian Wright-we beat plymouth 5-1 and I seem to remember him turning 4 or 5 players inside out before slotting the ball home up the whitehorse end.

that'll do for now.

Your number 2 would be very high on my list, probably second behind a Johnny Byrne goal which very few on here will remember.

However it was not a lob and it was not just inside the half way line. The whole point of the greatness of the goal was that it was a long way out and a supremely powerful volley which Wright executed after leaving the grovelling Keith Curle standing.

Has to be Hopkins in the play-offs for me.

And I can remember Mark Bright scoring a cracker against Millwall in the early 90's to win us the game 4-3.

Yogi Bear Hughes v Sheffield Utd. sure palace won 5 1 a great goal. couldn't see the ball until it hit the back of the net.
