Further evidence of being brainwashed by Right-Wing / Telegraph then in so far as when they don't like to hear or read truth, then they lazily assume left-wing sympathising tendencies - I didn't even vote for Labour at last General Election. Just being real with the facts! I would suggest that you step down from ivory towers and gaze at the real world yourself.

Everyone in the south east is clinging on to their assets, there are nowhere near enough properties for sale and therefore nothing is shifting, hence the "average house price" (which is an inanely inaccurate way of measuring house prices) is stagnant. Actual values are up. Unless the property is a new build studio flat, which there is going to be a glut of in two years' times, there will be no crash in London and the south east house prices.

I listened to David Cameron's speech yesterday (I think it was at the Oval cricket ground) and he talked about staying in a "reformed" EU. It seems to me that when he tried to change something in our favour he returned home with his trousers around his ankles and a smacked bottom.

Plus if we leave, Sterling will weaken, which will mean a further influx of overseas buyers in the market keeping prices at the very least where they are now. The property argument is probably the worst bit of scaremongering by the world champion scaremongerers.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |
