To be fair the agent only answered "yes" when questioned if he'd be at Liverpool next season and denied links with any clubs. I don't know what else he would say really. May just be covering up negotiations going on under the surface. Either way, we must have something on the cards if we are prepared to get rid of gayle. I just hope we don't do what we did with Glenn Murray and bring in an Adebayor, someone who is not as capable as the outgoing player

How much do people think he'd cost us? Was thinking he'd be around the £30M mark. Kinda think Berahino and Babacar could both be bought for that combined. Makes you wonder which people would prefer? Edited by Goldfiinger (29 Jun 2016 8.50pm)

I'd say just over 20 million they paid more but must expect a loss. And I don't believe those Twitter rumours, I don't think he's favoured by Jurgen klopp. I think we have a good chance still.

Crystal Palace used to have Champagne taste but lemonade money, whereas now we have Champagne money but lemonade appeal. No one (any good) wants to come to Palace. Don't know if it's Phil Alexander or another negotiates but we just can't pull off signing Champagne players.

Wouldn't have anything to do with the clubs fantastic state of the art Stadium to play in every fortnight or the wonderful training facilities at your disposal! Also with no European football and possibility of relegation again following last seasons second half performance. lets face it we can go and open doors, do deals with Presidents & Chairman of Clubs, trigger release clauses but enticing top players to actually want to come and play at Palace is entirely another matter.

Christ you happy bunch. Yes we're not the most glamorous club no our stadium is old ect. But sometimes in football players want to play week in week out. We signed cabaye who could have gone elsewhere? I'm sure wild could have had a few other offers ? Who knows what will happen.
