Wow...I didn't think they'd actually go and do it! Fair play...though I have no doubt whatsoever it'll be commuted to a weekend in Lorette Del Mar after appeal

Less than 2 years = suspended sentence. Unfortunately not the big story it appears to be, which is a shame since there's f*ck all going on at the moment.

If a club in England were found guilty of as much dodgy stuff as Barca (or a number of other Spanish clubs) we would be thrown out of UEFA. Illegal state funding earlier in the week, Messi today, Neymar next.

Put football to one side - what an unpleasant, greedy individual he is. He even tried to stitch up his own father. In a parallel fantasy universe, if LM was available to us at £20 million with wages asked for of £50,000 a week, my desire to see CP progress whatever it takes would be sorely tested. But isn't it the super rich that try every trick both legal and illegal to hold onto every penny. Messi may well escape jail but millionaire jockey Lester Piggott didn't and was jailed for three years for tax fraud
