Do stats tell us if these shots on target were also straight at the keeper(good positioning or bad shooting) or did Keeper have to adjust his feet.
It's good to keep an opened mind, but not so open that your brains fall out. |

A surprising statement, I don't think Mandanda has done enough to make a first team place a given. He maybe a good keeper, but he has one obvious fault. He isn't suited to the English game yet, as he doesn't come for crosses and command his area. This was also Nigel Martyns weak area when he signed, but he improved, I hope Mandanda does. Mondonda has done well with one on ones, his reflexes and adjustment look good. Set pieces are different because if the manager has a reliance on defenders being capable of dealing with crosses and they're not, it looks as if you're stuck on you're line.
It's good to keep an opened mind, but not so open that your brains fall out. |
