Nothing wrong with the ticket price in my opinion. This was two premiership teams playing. For £25 . Not bad at all

Hf walking out in protest. So they buy tickets , pay for them then walk out. But arse about face isn't it

I was in block D and thought that the atmosphere was pretty good. The drum started up for a short while but thankfully went quiet again but it didn't seem to stop the atmosphere. If any did walk out, which I seriously doubt, they were replaced with others as block E was overflowing with people standing in the isles.

I'm quite happy for them to have the drum in block B though, just not too close to me!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

If they walked out in protest one wonders, since there was only a reported crowd of about 10,000, did anyone notice?

(other than those of you who have commented on the lack of drum/singing)

Haven't we got a bit more pressing worry than what the HF were doing SAturday afternoon?

So what if the staged a walk out over ticket prices (or were caught out trying to get in with U16 tickets and the rest walked out)?

I agree with what Bexley Dave says, and also think they have become a self obsessed unit that doesn't always galvanise Selhurst Park into a coherent single voice getting behind the team... and what is it with the black garb and hooded faces?

Initially they were a welcome breath of fresh air to generate support for our team, but seem to have morphed into Emo's.

All that teenage angst . No one understands them!

No one was being 'ripped off'. Attendance at a sporting event is an entirely voluntary activity and, if you don't like the pricing structure, then don't go. Obtaining tickets, to which you were not entitled, fraudulently, is not the answer and those with invalid tickets were quite rightly refused admission. If the rest of them decide to then have a flounce that's entirely up to them.

They have, quite rightly, no say in the running of Crystal Palace FC and represent a tiny proportion of the total support. Their self-important posturing is becoming increasingly tedious. We managed perfectly well before them, and we'll continue to do so when they're gone.

My personal view is that what they supposedly bring to the atmosphere is somewhat overblown. Their major contribution now is smashing away on a drum and droning away in the corner with the vast majority of the rest of the ground not joining in. I have considerably more time for the group in the top corner of the Arthur Waite who at least stick to singing the 'classics'.

It's far quicker to type ''I don't like the HF''.

I concur with what you have said bexleydave so long as the pricing structure is fair in the first place (which at our club it is).
There are some other clubs where the purchasing of tickets for cup games is mandatory for season ticket holders so at least you have a choice at Palace.
As for the HF they need to drive support from everyone in the stadium not single themselves out again for acts against the club!

Well that is probably the reason why a lot of people do't go every week, and it's not like we sell out all the time. Whilst I agree with the overall sentiment, and agreeing that buying incorrect tickets is wrong, I think the overall pricing of English football is wrong. The fact that it cost me £40 for Everton last week, and we call that very reasonable is depressing to say the least.

Just a guess but like the rest of us they probably buy their own seats online. The club probably noticed that most of the tickets in theur section were U18 and suggested they were checked. My pal is 49 yrs old and had an u18 ticket and got in no problem. He spent the extra ticket money on beer so the club got it anyway.

THe club sorts them sections at Cup Games i am led to believe. Just don't understand why they'd sell them in the first place?
