Championship has a lot more going for it than last time we were there. More publicity with 5 games getting 30 plus thousand crowds today. Potential derbies against Fulham, QPR and Millwall.

Chance of seeing youngsters such as KaiKai get a run out..

Alllardyce got West Ham up. A year on loan to Championship I can live with.

The biggest positive for me would be to hopefully get rid of this old dinosaur we have at the moment and get a young up and coming manager in with a bit of hunger and passion.

A part of me always missed the championship, whilst most sane people will always want to stay in the premier league there is something special of not always having the world watching. The main thing is the exclusivity of going to a game, knowing that the majority of the time it's the only way to have an extended view of the match - always thought it made a game at Selhurst a special experience.

Clutching at straws a bit, but it looks like we're going back so we may as well find some positives out of the situation

None. Stop being obtuse. We need to stay in the prem. End of. If you think settling for second best is acceptable then you have a hard life ahead.

The very, very best thing will be getting rid of the JCL's, plastics and tourists. Not only at the ground but on here and BBS !!!!

There NO postives about going down to the championship at all unless you want to lose all your best players going back into administration and taking 10 years to get back up again the only positive of going back to the championship is the price to get to see the team play but other than that not alot

I know we've been in administration twice in recent history, but it doesn't happen EVERY time we get relegated!!
What ever you think of SP, he's too shrewd to let it happen again, we get £100 million for finishing bottom this season don't we? And I believe the big shot high earners wages halve if we go down!!

What an absolutely pathetic response. Your like one of those people who thinks they can speak things into existence, sometimes look at a situation realistically. No ones settling for second best but last time I checked I wasn't a player or manager or owner so not sure how you saying "we need to stay in the prem. end of" is gonna have any bearing on whether or not we will. It's sadly looking as if we're on our way out but would give an arm and a leg to turn it around. Other than supporting the team as usual I'm a bit confused as to what approach you think I should be taking? I'm all ears, if you think it will make a difference!

I reckon SP would sell his stake in the club if we go down he would be devastated and feel he couldn't take the club any further but thats my own opinion but what do i know only be a fan for 38 years it will be an interesting summer yet again at palace

Why do you feel the need to start these threads all the time? Attention seeking tubbish then when people question you, you get shirty like the teenager you were not very long ago. Grow up and try and accept that going down is not in the clubs best interests in any way, and there are no benefits to it.

And why, without fail, do you engage negatively in every thread I put up? It's like your obsessed

Watching the Weeds get a spanking against the top 6 instead of us.
