I kind of agree with this. The dramatic effect of the improvement in central defence has masked the fact that he's still not of the required standard. Chelsea apart, he really hasn't had a huge amount to do. Heston has stopped two fantastic efforts from us and showing what we are missing. Their goal was of championship standard really.

Given his one talent was getting in the way of shots that were straight at him he appears to have lost that. I'm sure he is a lovely bloke but he just hasn't got an ounce of get up and go in him, no presence and I'm going to say limp wristed, which might explain why he goes for everything with his feet. So far this week he's been beaten from long range, close up and one on one at his near post, without really doing anything of note.

He was found out this week as he didn't have as good a backline infront of him. Kelly and Damo won so little in the air and other than one or two saves Hennessey was shocking.
