I don't think Sam rates Palace very highly.
He can't believe he kept us up, and doesn't think he can keep us up next season, so he's quitting while he's ahead .

Has it actually been confirmed yet?

All I can see for certain is that it doesn't matter how long I stay away it's still Willo vs the world.

Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature.

The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace.

Whatever is going on, that can't be true. We've got the players to be mid-table.

This may all be my fault, because that crossed my mind when Moyes resigned ie would Sam fancy going back there?

He fell out with Ellis short over a lack of funds so to be honest why the hell would he go back there ?

They're more broke now than they were then.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

You've really not grasped the Pulis situation have you!? The court transcripts are available to read.
Suggest you do so cos your continued insistance that SP was at fault is just making you look foolish.
I can tell you're an emotional fella but try and take a breath..

SP WAS MORALLY at fault with Pulis and that's what I'm suggesting could be the same here. Morally, a court ruling doesn't mean a damn thing other than one party was contractually in error. I'm suggesting that the Parish fault lies in his dealings with TP (and other managers?) before contractual obligations come into play. You can take Monsanto to court and lose legally - doesn't mean they're morally pure does it? In fact, it could mean that there's some very fine print in SP's managerial contracts that managers aren't used to, eh?

This stupid idea that one court ruling condemns TP (a very decent man IMO) as morally inferior to Parish is utter hogwash.

Trouble is that Palace has a two managers per season tendency. Hope we get a keeper.

What was Parish's moral fault?

Smells of Defoe to me. Put up or shut up ultimatum maybe? If the rumoured £6m signing on fee plus £115k odd wages have been stumped up by Bournemouth but we were unwilling to match it then maybe it shows a lack of ambition in Allardyce's eyes.

Would have been a stupid amount to fork out and would have unsettled the squad though I'm sure.
