This 'rumour' says he can cover RCB as well as right wing bqck, and right CM. Frank seems to like this kind of versatility

Looks like it's Mensah instead of Chambers because of the asking price (20 Mil). Could also have a lot to do with the buy back clause that has been rumoured. May as well loan a player for a fraction of the price from Man U if Arsenal want to add low buy back fees for Chambers - meaning he could be off in a season anyway, if he performs.

Interesting read.... Chambers fee apparently agreed however FdB wants Fosu Mensah instead...

Personally I'd suspect this would then open up the door for loan for him and purchase possibly of Sakho. But who knows!

Would be great to get Fosu Mensah on loan plus Sakho but depending on the terms i.e. No buy back clause I'd probably plum for Chambers bought over Fosu Mensah loan. Unless it meant spending the money saved elsewhere

Sounds like plenty of works being done to get the right players in even if it takes a little longer. Can only imagine how busy / nervous they are sorting these deals.

Haha ok still would love to see us sign him, but technically it doesn't look like im to wrong. As it appears we're not signing him as a wing back.

Although I'm pretty sure the first time we play him there I'll be eating my straw hat.
