Hate them Ebook reader sales are down because of return of return to book trends, or them decorating your house to appear well read. Satnav sales are down with lots of cars over £xxxxx having them built in.

Ebook reader sales are down because of return of return to book trends, In the bad old days half of my suitcase was taken up with books to read on holiday but since the advent of the Kindle I have much more room in my suitcase to bring bottles of gin back with me instead. As you say sales of sat navs are down because more and more cars have them built in but I assume that sales of dash cams are up instead until they start to become more common built in

I mean do people actually care the measurements or public holiday dates in those extra pages? Or use it to make notes? Edited by Penge Eagle (12 Oct 2017 1.39am) Yes, I always have kept a diary and still do - in the old fashioned sense too. Not quite every day, but most days keep a record of my life and my thoughts on it. Hopefully, they may get published after I'm gone and then the truth of so many things will be out there.......

I would have more space in the living room if I got rid of the bookcase but I can't bear to get rid of all the books.

Heading out shortly to book shop as off on holiday tomorrow and need something to occupy me at 2am when insomnia kicks in!

Hate them I'm with on that to a certain extent Michaela, but when I go on holiday I can read anything up to 10 books. And it's starts to get a bit heavy,Lynne my other half is the same,so a kindle is a must for holidays.
