Sako puts the iceing on the red & blue cake. What a performance, what a result. We only 5 points off 9th. Surely Sako with that brilliant finish starts next week. Sako is obviously a big unit, but he looks slightly trimmer now? Or am I imagining that?

Unbelievable! In fairness, but for a crazy Schmeichal save he would have had two assists. His first-time crosses were pretty good. Not on fire like his was in the second half of last season, but he's getting his head down and working hard.

I think Sunderland 1-4 ( bolasie Hatrick) a few years back would be a very close second to today Edited by Bullhorn76 (16 Dec 2017 3.40pm)

Please God let us beat Swansea to hit that 20pts at Christmas target we could only dream of a few weeks back.

First up on MOTD tonight, or will 'they' hide us away behind two 0-0 draws again, like on Wednesday?

i said we'd do well to get a result, and f**k me, didnt we. im in shock tbh. the controlled football, was nice to watch, without it being tiki taka-ish. macca and cabaye, excellent in shielding the back four, breaking up play, and keeping it simple. everyone played well. even had a decent ref. and where the f**k did that hit from sako come from? according to commentary, jules is the first palace keeper to keep 100 clean sheets? think i heard that right?
