If it had relegated us, then we'd have something to hang any subsequent misfortunes on, but it didn't, so we don't.

You seem to have made my argument for me in terms of criticism of the people who carried out that reunion of club and ground... and training facilities for that matter. Trouble is, while the club is fine, the ground is largely a low capacity antediluvian Nissan hut; and the support facilities are not much better. This is a consequence of criminal underinvestment by previous owners and not the current incumbents. That is the long term impact of 2 administrations. That we have not been relegated notwithstanding restricted revenue and the constant necessity to divert much needed money to repairs and infrastructure improvements is surely a compliment to the management? Bournemouth aside (who have a rich sugar daddy funding them), we are constantly playing catch-up with all the clubs around us. Yet we are still here...

I think I have given a plausible explanation for the relative lack of resources up the thread. Since we are building to a point where funding won't be as critical and FFP rules will not hamstring our efforts to build our squad I am hoping that fiscal nirvana is only a few seasons away... if we stay in this league. That said, of course our owners make mistakes including some of the ones you allude to. And is it fair to criticise them? Hell yeah! We are the fans without whom they would be nothing. If they are accountable to anyone its us. But don't expect to stick the boot in without a counter from someone if the attack is either wrong or lacks balance.

There was certainly under-investment by at least one owner, prior to the first administration and likewise after it, but it's a bit of a stretch to blame that on the administration itself. Post-administration you get a tabula rasa (a clean slate), free from having to pay all those annoying people the club owed money to. Likewise, after the second administration, CPFC2010 got a debt free club and it's a matter of choice that they won't be making any substantial infrastructure improvements until their 10th year of ownership and after six years in the PL. To suggest that administration has made the new owners (especially the current ones) poorer is the reverse of the actuality.

They are prudent and act inside FFP rules. We grow slowly but sustainably; and always profitably. I think these are good things. I have highlighted your last sentence as I can only assume that you are responding to somebody else's post as I never said this or remotely suggested it.

Having made the decision, watched a good performance against Burnley where we should have won, tweeting about solidarity, then firing the guy after 4 games. Managing the squad properly so as to not create a situation where half the first team is out of contract at the same time.
