The scandal of the pathetic disabled section was 100% the fault of club employees who don't think

Not fair to conflate different issues

Did you reply to the public process and object to the new stand, if so , good on your principles, if not, then stop be holier then thou

I hope those defending block E are also defending the residents in Wooderson Close those houses will be knocked down to make way for a new stand.

Literally forced out of their homes by the club.

And then there was the disabled section at the corner of the holmesdale. Where was the outrage when they had the Sky box built in front of them?

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

did the disabled complain or did the club talk to them first before the change,
did you complain and kick up a fuss on there behalf?

Yes I did kick up a fuss. The CPFC DSA was set up as a result of numerous complaints.

But the less abled aren't proper fans so no one gives a s*** about them

Did I object? Of course not! I want the new stand built just as I'd like to see a singing section moved into Block E.

Harsh. Moving settled season ticket holders at the urging of the police versus one set of fans? Fans will take it from police pressure. They will not from the HF.

HF hissy flounce. Rather pathetic.

Is there an automatic right to the same seats year on year?

What about when people are moved/seats altered due to the stadium redevelopment?

'If it aint broke don't fix it' comes to mind with this situation .
Always referred to as the noisy fans in the corner and were nearly as famous as the Crystals on match day .

Shown themselves up to be rather selfish if they expected people to move out of their way and I for one am glad all over that they didn't get their way .

Fans are important to the club ,that's all fans not just the few and well done SP for not getting sucked into the hype of their self importance .

And we still need a striker

It'll be a big blow if we lose (have already lost?) the HF imo.
No they're not perfect, but over the years they have given far more to all of us than they've ever taken.

How sad they must be to devote 8 pages (so far) to something comparatively trivial happening at a rival football club.

Agree with you Tux both home and away the HF do help lift the atmosphere and support of the team which was appreciated by a number of the players. I'm an oldy in the Main Stand now but not to old to recognise the benefits of having a group of noisy supporters who were the "envy" of a lot of other clubs in the Premier.
Without them we will be out noised by the visiting supporters and that is definitely of no good to the Palace team.
Hope another singing, chanting, banner waving group is formed the sooner the better.

i wouldnt describe the HF disbanding as trivial, as they are the reason we have such a good atmosphere at selhurst, and are 90% of the reason we have / had the best atmosphere in the PL.

if we are being honest, before they started the atmosphere was shyte at selhurst, it was as stale as at most other home grounds up & down the country.

The North Stand thread just shows reflects how other clubs would like to have something like the HF to create an atmosphere as at Selhurst.
They gave us something special that few clubs could match in the Premiership, personally I hope they have a rethink after reading these posts.

This.
Massively important (not ''comparatively trivial'' imo) for a club of our size.
