Our attacking play is so muddled, absolutely no creativity from the midfield.

Only person making anything happen is Wilf. Need a player like Meyer to play some intelligent balls behind their defence.

Not all is lost!!

Ugh just watching it again, what a mistake from Tomkins.

It’s such a basic skill to get your head on a long ball like that.

Punished as we often are for schoolboy errors.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Brighton stats 1 shot, 1 on target, 1 FFS.

Keep the faith. Clearly we have struggled to break Brighton down but we are trying to play and have had chances.
The goal was a mistake by Tomkins which happens.

Bring on Meyer and don’t leave it too late !
Should have started. Why let him get bashed around against Burnley rather than start him against an ultra-defensive team which will sit back all game?

Agreed!!!

How many of us will live to envisage a corner, that is not easily cleared by the opposition - usually without any pressure at all on the player heading or kicking away.?

Today a Palace corner is a gift to the opposition - always harmess and sometimes leads to a counterattack.

Buy would Roy change the way we take our corners? Never in a million years. Frustrating...

I was thinking this. We have been ABYSMAL at corners for a couple of seasons now when we used to be one of the best teams in the division. When was the last time we scored from a headed corner in the PL?

You stole my thunder. Our corners are crap. Why is Luka evening taking them? Why not Townsend, especially from our right, he could easily whip it in with his left peg! Luka's corners barely clear the near post ffs!

But that's the story of all of our home games against defensive teams which end with us failing to win?

The shackles should of been released at the beginning of this game. To give the Weeds this much respect in midfield is scandalous. If Roy doesn't rate Meyer for this position then he desperately needs to get a midfielder who can change our play.

Absolutely pathetic and spineless line-up by Roy. Could just about handle it if this lot hadn't already turned us over away with 10 men.

There's no desire or fight, all Hughton has to do is double up on our wingers because we cannot go through the middle with THREE defensive midfielders.

Kouyate and Meyer needed to start. If we hadn't gifted them a goal this could only end 0-0 and that's not acceptable when trying to show your rivals who's boss.

Laughing stock. Shove your luck away from home, hard working people pay fortunes for season tickets at home to see spineless displays like this. We want to be entertained against tin pot Clubs like Brighton. They have NOTHING FFS.
