In general immigrants are low users of the NHS due to their demographics.

The single largest group of patients are 65 to 69 year olds, a group growing very rapidly (over 35% in the past 10 years). Probably the majority of this site.

Population growth can’t be the cause. It has been running at 8% but hospital admissions increasing at 30%

A fair point and it takes two to tango. There are a few (and I have more fingers on one hand) people who back a second referendum who I would still consider friends but that is on the back of some much deeper bonds. People I would perjure myself for in court.

As I have stated, I had no problem with anybody who wanted to remain in the EU. Some valid arguments were made. But once that result was in on June 23rd, the issue should have been settled. And once it is, if people wish to campaign/support our rejoining then once again, best of British to them. That is how democracy works. It is the failure to accept the result that is an issue that makes me reassess how I see others.

But my racist bigotted tendencies are a factor. Always willing to concede that. Throw in my dislike of pets, my almost black as the hole in my arse sense of humour and a propensity for being a contrary arsehole at the best of times and yes, it is easy to understand why others might regard me as poor friendship material.

But a fair old few others as well. And in those slightly further out circles, exist the R2's.
