Not according to the Cornish. They believe they are a race apart, with connections to other celts. Mind you there was a time when shipwrecked sailors, often with dark skins, influenced the gene pool, which can still be seen today. Don't let that stop you believing they are all "white" though, just because that is the option available on a census form!

I have never heard of this group! There are though those who think like this, though small in number and with tongues firmly in their cheeks. It's all good-humoured and intended to try to preserve a sense of identity. Which actually works pretty well.

One of my mates had paint thrown across the front window of his car down there at the start of the pandemic.

He'd gone back to his parents for lockdown, someone saw a car that they thought belonged to an emit and attacked it.

I used to live in Croydon, because that's where I was born.

I even chose to live in Wisbech once but as soon as I retired couldn't get away from the boring Fens and it's people quickly enough. Too many closet fascists there for my liking.

So come to Cornwall. The housing is relatively cheap and the countryside gorgeous. I had a long walk along the cliffs yesterday, with my wife and dog, between Chaple Porth and St Agnes. The sun was out, the views wonderful. The surfers were riding big waves. Lovely. Much better than getting wound up in London Parks.
