With the greatest of respect I had never heard of it before you mentioned this facility.

I have been a supporter since the 60s, accordingly I have a recollection of players who ploughed their furrows in those times.

Yawn...

At least we have Dann though. Slightly quicker than Van Dijk.

And Tomkins!

I would not worry the window does not close until 5th October. No one expects anything until about an hour before the window closes on that day.

The trouble with leaving everything until the last minute is that if we start the season as we finished the last one no-one will want to come to us as we will be flagged as relegation candidates

so much for the countless reports you see saying qpr have to sell and Crystal Palace are playing it right by biding their time , what a load of hogwash that is

We have learnt in past transfer windows that much of what is written in the media is just hogwash to fill up space.

Some in the club will have a rough idea of what we are trying to achieve but only Parish, Freedman and their trusted confidant Willo know exactly what the state of play is

I predict our three new signings will be a 17 year old reserve from Bognor Regis, a bloke from Wales and a refugee plucked from a boat at Dover.

Looks like the ITK’s are performing to their usual standards.
Transfers never used to be this painful at Palace. Pretty sure previous administrations got them through relatively quickly but this is just a drag. Every window it’s the same. A series of ridiculously long posts from Matteo (this is NOT meant disrespectfully), listing out every player we could (and in some cases should) go after from Venezuela to Thailand, a couple of top targets listed listed from a ‘we’re definitely in for them but I can’t reveal my sources’ itk individual or two and then?

Bang!!!

Sweet fanny Adams until the last day of the window, when we panic buy a 47 year old plasterer from St Helens who once played for Bolton and we remember his name as he scored a screamer in a 1985 `FA Cup qualifier against Margate Town.

Can someone, somewhere, tell me what positive influence DF is having? Personally, I’d never have let him back within 100 miles of our club.

Evening all, no real update I am afraid I can only say just be patient their are things happening.

From what I am told & my personal opinion is that Eze will be a Palace player I won’t put a timeframe on as I can see if your wrong you get slated but it will be this window.

If I am wrong I will happily delete my profile in shame that’s how confident I am of the deal happening.

I have said all along there will be 3-4 new signings just have faith they will happen.

Thanks Dazza, even if things do not go as you say, no need to delete profile. I am sure you are being given information in good faith, I for one look forward to your updates, carry on posting

Knowing our luck it will be the wrong refugee, the bloke next to him in the boat goes onto to become the new Messi but we wouldn't pay him a £100 signing on fee.

We still don't know what restrictions DF works under. It maybe he is not up to the job in which case why hasn't Parish sacked him. It is more likely he is doing the job that Parish wants which is not necessarily the job that the fans want.

This whole transfer business can be hugely challenging, protracted, and fraught with difficulty and disappointment as bids are not accepted or one is in competition with other clubs. When one thinks one has 'Hooked' one's target, the 'Fish' gets off the hook much to the frustration of clubs and supporters alike.

In the meantime, the 'rumour mill' runs amok with outlandish and fanciful suggestions which bear no resemblance to the actualite.

If one comes on such sites and provides information in good faith from trusted sources and the transfer is not completed due to a plethora of reasons one is subjected to ordure and opprobrium with all the "In the know" brickbats hurled in one's direction.I have faced shot and shell on HOL on this matter resulting in some dastardly Willo threads and we have ALL had enough of them.
