The protestations of election fraud are a different issue.
70m people who actually live in America voted for him.
Interesting that requests for evidence are “rather silly”.
We all know what Trump is like and what he says but what has he actually done that is so bad?

It's silly because the evidence is there in plain sight. He lost. Both the popular vote and the electoral college. That more voted for both Biden and Trump is a result of turnout and growing electorate rather than increased support.

Trump was a disaster and continues to be one. You need to look no further than the way he has, and is continuing to, thrust knives into the gaping wounds which divide the USA, rather than do what every leader ought to do, and try to bring people together so the wounds can heal. If that isn't bad I would like to know why.

So you will be quite happy with a thorough investigation then?

That’s all very emotive but you still haven’t given any examples from the last four years.
A large part of Trump’s support comes from that part of America who have felt marginalised under previous administrations and 70m of them still support him despite being denigrated as ignorant racist nutcases by many. Not you. Many in the media.

If, in the aftermath of the 2016 FA Cup final a substantial amount of evidence emerged that Clattenberg had been compromised to favour Man Utd, wouldn't we all want to get to the bottom of it? Even if it meant a time-consuming exposure through the legal system?

Your "thrusting knives" and "gaping wounds" drivel doesn't cut it with people who are interested in the truth.

I don't see there being any actual will from the government to investigate election fraud.
My own take on it is that there may have been some ballots from dead people, some people will have voted twice - those kind of things, but I can't imagine it being enough to change the result. If even 100s of thousands of fraudulent ballots were counted, Biden would still have won.
There's been a perfect storm against Trump when you consider the timing of the pandemic and BLM, along with media and social media bias. I'm not sure I know anything about Trump anymore. I'm pretty sure he's not as bad as he's been made out to be - which raises questions.
Biden can do no wrong currently, so I don't see anyone in authority caring too much about what Trump is doing.
Politics is more about perception than reality. God knows, we've all lived through that.

Looks like the Dems and all the media puppets are running scared of an investigation.

I wonder why that could be?

Will the supreme court have the balls to expose the fraud?

If it actually gets there the real question is whether they have the balls to apply the law and throw it out if, as most legal minds believe, none of the assertions has any merit.

It would be a real test of just how politicised the SC has become.

The truth is what this is all about. It's a pity that some seem to believe alternative versions of it. If investigations are needed as vehicles to help heal then bring them on. The truth has nothing to fear from exposure.

What help heal like the dems did during the rioting, looting and murdering for stuff. Not one dem came out with anything strong enough and now let's sit around the camp fire singing kumbaya holding hands. For someone who claims to be so worldly wise you do surprise with a bit of naivity at times. I can accept that you did say 'try' to heal but come on really!

That some feel marginalised, and need to be made to feel included, is a real problem.

A problem for which Trump is not the answer and indeed one he has made worse. The swamp needs draining, but Trump has only made it deeper.

Not all who support Trump are ignorant racist nutcases. However, all the ignorant racist nutcases not only support Trump but are encouraged by him.

You want more examples of bad? How about withdrawing from the WHO, the Paris accord, the Iran deal and undermining Nato? Add giving tax breaks to his pals, breaking trade agreements, starting trade wars, and failing to deal with a pandemic so that 230,000 lives are lost when many could have been saved, just to try to save his own job? Not enough? What about cosying up to dictators and insulting democratic leaders?

There's much more but that's enough bad or 10 Presidents already.

As a matter of interest how is it possible to say that all ignorant racist nut jobs supported Trump? Do you know them all?

Oh come on!

The dems weren't responsible. Criminals were and they were condemned in strong terms by Biden. Some will always exploit genuine protests and the protests were the result of heartfelt grievances and were peaceful until exploited. Who knows who did the exploitation? There have been suggestions that the hard right got involved to make things look bad, but that's unproven.

You cannot start to heal unless you try to heal. The first step etc etc. I can see an awful lot o cheek turning being needed in the coming years.
