Plus for the record Mr font of all knowledge Morrison claimed numerous times that Palace 'just cant get the ball' yet the possession stats are quite clear. Palace enjoyed 53% possession in the first half and 54.5% in the second. I wonder if Clinton had got the shirts mixed up?

I'm with you on this long time fan. There's been a lot of panicky rubbish spouted today. The 2nd half was much better and we should have nicked it at the end (probably being greedy).

Given that most fans who made a prediction said that we would get thrashed today, this was a good result (I went for a 1-1 draw more out of hope than expectation). We have our first away point against a team in form and scored our first goals (shame it was a loanee and not one of our own but at least the rest of them know we can score if we get into the box often enough).

When are the pant-wetters going to recognize that this is a work in progress and it will take time (and time we do have) to get things as the club wants them.

Hughes should be available for the next game which should beef up our midfield and Olise shouldn't be too long before we see what he can do out wide on the right (assuming we aren't bringing someone in for that role).
