Guehi is a good defender but hard to compare him to an attacker
Gallaher is a chelsea player and he seems to have gone off the boil of late.
Olise looks like a fantastic talent. But is still learning and can leave Wardy exposed which is why Ayu will often start over him.
Eze is another fantastic talent but hasnt quite regained his initial form after an injury.
Wilf is joint second highest goalscorer currently despite having played fewer games. Even when not at his best he will worry defences and draw extra defenders to him. He can produce the magic to turn a game and is in my humble opininion our best player.

The Mail is reporting this morning that Wilf is not planning to sign a new contract despite Palace’s desire to sign him up to an extension.
Of course it could be just paper talk or his agent on manoeuvres, but with only 18 months remaining it’s likely that there is some forward planning in place.
The article suggests that he is prepared to let his existing contract run down, in which case Palace could be tempted to sell earlier to at least realise some value.
In my view this would not me as much of an issue as it would have been in the past.
Wilf is assured of his legendary status at the club, but he is a declining force and we are no longer so reliant on him.
He is not the same player that destroyed Bournemouth at the end of the season before last when he accelerated beyond opponents leaving several in his wake and destroyed them on the day.
He doesn’t seem to trust his pace to go on the outside of defenders and is predictable in cutting inside where he frequently concedes possession.
Opponents often don’t even double up on him any more because a full back can deal with him in isolation.
This is not a criticism of a great player, but just an observation of him over a number of months.
Although he’s only 29 such a decline is not without precedent.
Walcott was a brilliant young player, but has had a rapid drop off in form as he has got older and lost pace which is partly attributable to injuries.
Wilf is still capable of great moments, but I’m not sure that he’s the first name on the team sheet any more which in itself is a novelty.

Sad to say it may be time to let him go rather than have to hear tales of how unhappy and frustrated he is every 18 months - when a pay rise fixes his discontent.
Presumably he’d be looking for more money to play for another club whose fans won’t be as forgiving.

No, it's time to cut loose. He (and Benteke) is holding the club back. Wilf's position is not irreplacable. There are only a few select players who have long service at a single club. Usually they get less game time as the years go by, and they use their experience to positively influence younger players. If anything Wilf is getting more immature as time goes on.

Gallagher I agree but he isn’t OUR player so can’t really count him in.

Olise and Eze are exciting talents but neither has consistently performed at premier league level. If Eze didn’t have a horror injury he could be in the debate but we won’t see the best of him until next season in all likelihood.

Guehi is class and if we could get a string of clean sheets I think he could be a bolted for WC squad. Think he’s better than White, Godfrey or Webster who are all being talked about. But can we realistically compare a CB to a striker/winger?

In terms of attackers, I think Wilf is our best players by some distance.

If he leaves he will end his career a very well paid bit part player and bench warmer
