And we took 4 points off city so are we better than them ? You chat so much rubbish, Chelsea are comfortably 3rd, champions of Europe, werner, lukaku and haverts having a combined value of 200 mill but they're not that good, you're clueless, Chelsea are poor but eze is world class hahaha

Another obnoxious C**t

As usual the Palace supporters took over Covent Garden & Wembley was epic.Interesting that a number of Zchelsea supporters have no idea about the game ,history of the clubs & how Russian money did make an effect.Anyway.I’m being a sore Lose today & just is.I was too surprised Clyde & Olise didn’t start & was surprised Benteke & Milo came on tbh.Yet Pat had a plan & need to respect that.Well done Palace for a great day ! Onward upwards

Some raw posts. The fact is in the second half we were completey outplayed. They were taking the ball off the feet of our players and at times playing a practice match. Wilfred didnt play badly, but he cant do it all himself. However, Jimmy Mac, Ward, Ayew, Luka (last two in particular) just arent anything near the level to compete with the Chelsea second team let alone the first. Im not blaming them, they just arent good enough. It was a different class at the end, compounded by having no CG and Olise only on for a bit.
For me though the real disappointment came with the substitution of Ayew for Mateta. I thought it was game over at that point. Thatw as a managerial decision that I dont understand.

I thought tactically we were Ok but didn't understand the selection of Ward as a right wing back.

Ultimately to set up in that way you need to get the first goal but we didn't do enough and it's then difficult to find the momentum to turn the game. The subs seemed like a roll of the dice rather than anything else but I think we should have been more direct after bringing Benteke on.

First time I've been to the new Wembley on public transport. Always been on a coach before. Never again.

Also the atmosphere and acoustics inside are sh!te considering the noise our fans made.

Once they scored any chance we had went out of the window. We had to open up a bit more and that suited them, they finished us off with ease. It was a game we needed to go in front to knock them off their stride, but if we’d attacked them and been more open from the start, they would’ve picked us off earlier, so what do you do against the big boys? It’s tough.

But I’m well happy, any trip to Wembley is a good one, even in defeat, it’s nice to have a good cup run again after some lame cup efforts the last few years. Now to concentrate on finishing 9th or 10th and we can say it’s been a good season

Yes tl, I always thought so too. I posted earlier that I have been a big fan, but he hasn't had the opportunity to shine since his awful injury. We have Gallagher to thank for that.

It's quite noticeable that he doesn't chase and tackle with Gallagher's energy, but there was one small cameo yesterday when he ran with the ball and glided past a couple of players, was tackled, fell to the ground, got to his feet, recovered the ball and passed it. Many players would have rolled around clutching some part of their anatomy unrelated to the tackle looking for a free kick. That's more like it my son, I thought.

We'll be loving him again next season.

I think so. The fact the club supposedly turned down a £35m bid from Newcastle in January says to me he has a big future with us.

Ooo you are edgy

We lost, however you dress it up.

Eze doesn't get game time, because he isn't good enough, the new Max Meyer. Occasional good touch, but to weak to play in the Premier.

That’s actually embarrassing 🥴

Stupid post. Was probably our best player, clearly has a load of ability. Has barely kicked a ball in months.

Amazing how Eze’s mum and girlfriend have both managed and gone to the lengths to create a few profiles each on here.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
