What a great thread!

For my time:

Speroni

D.Granville
T.Popovic
S.Dann
J.Ward

J.McArthur
M. Hughes
D.Ambrose

Wilf
AJ
A.Lombardo

Subs:

C.Nash
C.Hill
D.Ward
D.Delaney
D.Butterfield
A.Riihilahti
J.Kolkka
D.Hopkin
J.Puncheon
C.Morrison

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Tough one this, many favourite players over the years. Came up with this 11

John Burridge
Danny Butterfield
Eric Young
Ian Evans
Clint Hil
Sasa Curcic
Geoff Thomas
David Payne
Don Rodgers
Glen Murray
Mark Lazarus

Could probably put together about 5 teams over the years

Martyn

My favourite team of 11 plus subs that has given me pleasure / worth paying to see since 1968. Early days for Andersen I know, but I’ve not watched a better Palace footballing centre back.

Sent, and then remembered Alan Whittle - loved watching him back in the day as well :-)

This line-up is probably influenced by my early days down the Palace as a young man. System = 4-3-3

Keeper: Burridge

Defence: (Doris) Hinchelwood - Cannon - Guehi - Sansom

Midfield: Murphy - Jedinak - Thomas

Attack: Hilaire - Johnson - Rogers

Manager: Coppell

Subs: Speroni - Ward - MacArthur - Elwiss - Whittle

Not necessarily the best XI of my era (last 33 years), but the most memorable for me...

Speroni

AWB Delaney Young Gordon

Puncheon Jedi Eze

Wilf AJ Bolasie

I will always have a soft spot for Bruce Dyer, but he never replied to my letter when I was a kid, so he misses out. Clinton would definitely be on the bench with Salad, Jolly Roger and Cocoa Pops. As good as they were, some players like Scott Dann were just too boring to stick in the memory.
