99% of these articles are either made up by the press or the players agent and don’t contain any grain of truth. Palace keep dealings very confidential and most of the time the players we actual sign are completely out of the blue.

I think the reason for that may be they are holding out for Gallagher, They made the same mistake last window also . Might be something going on behind the scenes we dont know about but it would be unthinkable to think they would not try to sign a box to box midfielder .

I'm not sure that is true? I can't remember a player in the last 10 years that we have signed that wasn't widely trailed by click bait with most of us saying get on with it / why is this taking so long.
