As with everything they spin whereas you state objective truth.

Read them yourself and then tell me who you honestly believe is being more truthful!

Where are the figures to counter those quoted?

I could find any number of articles from well respected news sources that back up any of the claims in Teddy's article.
There is also an article I haven't posted that says there is no will amongst the voters for Newsome - voters actually prefer Biden. So, he's about as popular nationally as a tax on Tea. He does though seem to have California wrapped up to be fair to him. I guess that his ruining it won't matter to the rich idealists or the poor Spanish speaking immigrants who form his voter base. I guess they'll still enjoy California whilst everyone else leaves.

Like high gas prices being his responsibility? Seriously?

It’s spin. Nothing else. It’s the sad state of the commercial media today.

There don’t need to be. It’s not the figures that are disputed but who, if anyone, is responsible for them.

Now please answer my question.

The world now is one of instant gratification. Politicians know this and exploit the fact and not run on policies which will only benefit future generations.
Not everyone shares your faith in politicians knowing whats best for everyone else. Its all very well saying "make better choices" but when the choice is Biden or Trump that's a problem.

I agree with that. It’s why the parties themselves need to be proactive and far sighted.

Responsibility maybe moot but Newsom's policies certainly haven't helped and are unlikely to appeal in a Presidential election.
I'd defer to posters who live in America.

The general exodus started as the political landscape changed in 2020, primarily due to sky high costs, WOKE policies and a general direction “average Americans’ didn’t like!

So some people decided they were unwilling to share the costs involved in doing the right thing and left for somewhere that is avoiding it?

Some will. Until the consequences catch up with them.

Newsom will clearly generate strong opinions. That’s what is needed when countering Trump

He would offer a positive alternative to those who oppose Trump and those Democrats and Independents who don’t want Biden.

High oil prices are due to Democrat policies. It is their handling of foreign affairs that has created this situation - in more ways than one. You could try opening your eyes to the world led by Biden.
In the EU, I might add, they've added on several taxes. So have they in California - so yes, they can be directly attributed to Newsom's policies. Seriously.

Americans don't seem to see it that way but time will tell.

So from this I assume you are opposed to the USA supporting the NATO alliance in its assistance of Ukraine and sanctions on Russia?

High fuel prices are a direct consequence of this. Not decisions by local politicians. That they may have also decided to try to contain consumption also flows from that war.

If he stands.

Then anything could happen. I sense a significant number who yearn for a younger , dynamic alternative and not a choice between two older men who both are tainted.
