Dougie - Scored his 12th of the season

Crystal Palace let a half-time lead slip to draw 2-2 at home to Reading.

Reading got off to a good start on 14 minutes when on-loan striker Lloyd Owusu headed in from close range after Ivar Ingimarsson had flicked on James Harper's corner.

Julian Gray launched a fine drive just wide of the Reading goal as Palace pressed for a leveller.

It arrived on 33 minutes when Freedman cooly slotted home from Andy Johnson's pass 18 yards out for his 12th goal of the season.

It got even better for Palace a minute before half-time when Johnson controlled Danny Granville's ball in the box and slotted it past Marcus Hahnemann in the Reading goal with his left foot.

Eleven minutes into the second half Owusu scored his second of the match from Scott Murray's pass to make it 2-2.

Cedric Berthelin saved well to deny Shaun Goater but Freedman wasted a good chance to put Palace into the lead but missed a sitter late on. Shaun Derry picked out the Freedman following a powerful run but the Scot couldn't keep his shot under the bar.
