December 11 2004

Premiership debut for Wayne Andrews

Premiership debut for Wayne Andrews

Palace and Blackburn played out a disappointing game, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Blackburn were well on top in the first half, and Palace had to rely on great saves from Gabor Király to keep them in it.

Dowie switched to 4-4-2 early in the second half, giving Wayne Andrews his Palace debut. Andrew Johnson had Palace's best chance with a great run and shot which Brad Friedel palmed onto the post.

Despite throwing on Sandor Torghelle and Vassilis Lakis, Palace couldn't find a winner from anywhere.

Blackburn substitute David Thompson was sent off for picking up two Yellow cards.
