Neil Danns
Neil Danns scored a stoppage time winner as Crystal Palace saw off 10-man Scunthorpe 2-1.
Palace thought they had to settle for a draw after Iron defender David Mirfin scored in the 84th minute to cancel out Darren Ambrose's second half opener.
But in-form midfielder Danns fired home for Palace from the edge of the area in the third minute of injury time to give Neil Warnock's men a vital three points.
Scunthorpe started the better of the sides with Donal McDermott mis-hitting a shot in the area, Garry Thompson having an effort saved by Julian Speroni and Grant McCann spooning over from eight yards out.
Cliff Byrne wasted the best chance for the Iron by somehow shooting wide with the goal at his mercy.
McDermott blasted off target from 20 yards in the second half as the hosts continued to dominate.
However, Palace took the lead in the 63rd minute from their first major attack. Ambrose won a corner after his shot was pushed over the bar by keeper Joe Murphy. The midfielder took the flag kick quickly and fired a low shot into the far corner for his 15th goal of the season.
Scunthorpe went down to 10 men after left-back Marcus Williams was sent off for bringing down sub Kieran Djilali when through on goal 25 yards out.
Djilali, who was causing the Iron defence lots of problems, then put an Alan Lee cross wide before forcing Murphy into a decent block.
With six minutes left, Scunthorpe levelled the scores as centre half Mirfin headed Michael O'Connor's corner past Speroni.
But Palace were not to be denied and deep inside time added on, Danns popped up to net the winning goal from 18 yards for his seventh of the season.
