Managerless Crystal Palace stay in the bottom three despite claiming a 0-0 draw at QPR.
Caretaker Keith Millen steered his troops to a clean sheet - only Palace's fourth of the season - in this good away point.
Millen recalled Wilfried Zaha as a lone centre-forward with his striking options limited due to injuries.
The Eagles put in a spirited first half display restricting hotshot Charlie Austin to a long-range effort that was easily saved by Julian Speroni.
Palace went closest to scoring with a Jason Puncheon curler that smacked against the post, while Zaha screwed wide in a drab opening period.
Leroy Fer hit a volley just off target for Rangers after the break and forced Speroni into a save from distance, while James McArthur headed Steven Caulker's effort off the line.
QPR keeper Robert Green denied Puncheon by tipping over his strike and in the last seconds, saved his low drive as the match ended all square.
