Fraizer Campbell
Crystal Palace exited the FA Cup at the fifth round stage after a 2-1 loss at home to Liverpool.
Fraizer Campbell put the Eagles ahead in the 15th minute with his second goal in as many games. He fired home after Dwight Gayle's header had been pushed out by Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Liverpool continued to press for an equaliser and had shouts for a penalty turned down by referee Robert Madley when Palace debutant Pape Souare tangled with Daniel Sturridge in the box.
And the Reds had had the perfect start to the second half, levelling the scores with just four minutes gone through Sturridge who struck a sweet left-footed volley from Jordan Henderson's pass.
Adam Lallana reacted quickest to grab what proved to be the winner on 58 minutes from close range after substitute Mario Balotelli's fizzing, low free-kick was parried into his path by Julian Speroni.
Palace: Speroni, Kelly (Guedioura 64), Hangeland, Dann, Souare, Bolasie (Zaha 72), Ward, Ledley, Gayle, Chamakh (Puncheon 46), Campbell.
Not used: Hennessey, Mariappa, Murray, Delaney.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Markovic (Balotelli 46), Allen, Henderson, Moreno, Lallana, Sturridge (Lambert 78), Coutinho (Lovren 79).
