Nine-men Crystal Palace won 2-0 against Ipswich in the Boxing Day clash at Portman Road.
The Eagles ended a run of five games without victory but had goalscorer Jon Macken and Ben Watson sent off late on.
Macken netted his second goal for the club in the 14th minute, firing home ANDY JOHNSON's cross from six yards.
Michael Hughes increased the lead, drilling into the top right corner from 25 yards after 62 minutes.
But in the 77th minute, Macken was red carded for violent conduct. And two minutes from time, Watson was sent off following a second booking.
Palace: Kiraly, Hall, Ward, Popovic, Leigertwood, McAnuff, Watson, Hughes (Hudson 80), Soares, Macken, JOHNSON (Morrison 90).
Not used: Speroni, Freedman, Andrews.
