Team news

Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman is boosted by the return to the squad of Steffen Iversen and Anthony Gardner after the duo featured for the reserves in midweek. Defender Gardner is building up his match fitness after his August move, while Iversen has recovered from his hamstring injury. Alex Marrow is also available for selection after his ankle problem.

Nathaniel Clyne (foot), Kagisho Dikgacoi (hamstring) and Owen Garvan (hip) are still missing for the Eagles.

Stuart O'Keefe and Lewis Price are likely to be dropped to the bench despite playing in Palace's Carling Cup win over Wigan on Tuesday night. Striker ANTONIO PEDROZA is getting match fit following his recent move.

Middlesbrough defender Stephen McManus will have a late fitness test after damaging his knee against Burnley last weekend. Midfielder Kevin Thomson (ankle and leg) and goalkeeper Jason Steele (wrist) are out.
