Team news

Defender Darren Powell is battling against injury, however he is unlikely to make the squad with Kit Symons and Tony Popovic starting in the centre of defence.

Meanwhile, with Alex Kolinko still injured CEDRIC BERTHELIN will make his home debut. Also missing will be Curtis Fleming and Dougie Freedman who are on the way to recovery following knee and groin injuries respectively.

Trevor Francis does however have some positiveselection problems having to choose between Black, Akinbiyi, Adebola and Johnson for who will lead the attack against Burnley.

Ex-Palace loanee Nic the Greek may be dropped from the starting line up following first choice Marlon Beresford’s return from injury.

Speaking about Michopoulos Trevor Francis said: "He did very well for us this season and i'm pleased he's got the chance to play first team football again.

"Nik was unfortunate that when he left, Alex Kolinko got injured and we could perhaps have kept him on.

"He was great to have around the place and I have nothing but admiration about the way he goes around his job.

"Hes a great trainer, a smashing guy, a really good professional and I'm pleased to see him back in the first team.

"I'm sure he'll get a great reception from the Palace fans, and deservedly so.

"But on the day we've got to make sure he has a miserable afternoon."

Manager Stan Ternent will have to decide whether to stick with the strike partnership of Robbie Blake and Ian Moore following Gareth Taylor’s return from suspension.
