I cannot see Tyson Fury losing this, he has weight and reach advantage.

Fury likes to diss the BBC and all their woke crap. For that reason, i want him to win. The post-match interviews will be entertaining.

But a tough match. Its harder to defend a title than to win a new one.

Uysk for me. probably a KO in the later rounds as Fury tires.
Uysk is a class act, but Fury has a punchers chance.
John Fury just make himself look an idiot.

I will be watching this...I will be supporting Fury as he's British and working class.....he lies all the time and his father is a bully and a nutter who lives through his son....Even so the Furies are anti woke which frankly makes up for it.

Uysk is a proper bloke and if he wins I'll tip my hat.

I think this is a fight where Uysk has to overcome Fury's physical advantages to win....So we should know pretty quickly in the fight how it's going to go.

Fury's real height isn't six nine but sex seven and a half....which makes him four inches taller. His weight helps but Usyk always has that disadvantage.....the real advantage is Tyson's reach advantage of seven inches.

We all know seven inches makes quite the difference.

I think the good chins they both have means it goes the distance....unless Fury wins by body shot as Uysk has shown weakness there.

Tyson is British and Irish at the same time. Which explains why he is so nuts. The two things are not necessarily mutually exclusive...not like male and female.

Brad Pitt boxing at Streatham was prophetic.

The Irish are so infused with the British genetically and vice versa that in truth it's mostly labels and culturally created difference.

Tyson is an example of that as I am....Hell the Scots themselves take the name of an invading mostly Irish tribe.

Tyson was born in England to Irish parents...through John Fury grew up in England from the age of four and his mother was born and raised in NI. He couldn't obtain an Irish passport because his Dad's birth didn't seem to be recorded.

When Tyson was younger he went big on his Irish roots but the older he got the less he seems to relate to it and now all he talks about is being a Morecambe Bay man.

In my view it's like all the native peoples of these isles, it's just cultural variations of the same people.

Fury tends to raise or lower his level vs his opponent, I think were likely to see the best Fury performance for many years plus Usyk isnt perfect he cant take a punch to the stomach/ribs.

indeed. Can you remember that funny video clip of a lady politician, i think she was a Tory minister. Being asked about Brexit and the legal residency status of different peoples.

Her interviewer asked her about the Legal status of the Irish in Northern Ireland and some other blah blah. The answer from the Tory was along the lines of ''well, if the irish have been living there for at least a few years ( 5 years or 10 years) , they should be entitled to a UK passport'' Basically equating them with a blow-in off the banana boat. The preposterous notion of them entering the UK, when it was the UK that entered them in 1172. feckin hilarious ignorance of a peoples in residence in NI for 5 or 10 millenia.

does anybody remember the youtube clip ?

anyhoo....Tyson Fury struggles to get an irish passport . I am not surprised. A Murphy, O'Brien, Kelly from Croydon can have a hard time getting an irish passport. Meanwhile the irish govt will give the passport to any flying object from outer space.

this has been proven again and again in many sports. Including the Champions League.

When you are standing on the top of the pile : everybody studies videos to find your weakness, or to otherwise adapt their game to get you.

Even Mike Tyson got figured out & beaten while still in his prime.

Follow the link below to find Tyson's losses. And see what a long shadow is cast, in World-boxing, by british & irish boxers.

Fury was disappointing last night. He conceeded the middle of the ring, didn't use size and reach advantage well enough and couldn't sustain the pressure when he had Usyk hurt.

He is mid thirties and does not stay fit between fights. Perhaps time has caught up with him, or maybe his corner just needs changing. They were useless. It could have been a lack of sparing because of the cut but who knows.

I hope there will be a rematch as per the contract and he will come back to win for the sake of boxing entertainment, but Usyk is a tough character with a nation behind him. He deserves huge respect for his detirmination and skill.
