The how many refugees are you taking in is the most ridiculous response.

Nope, we have homeless refugees living here.

Live out your principles. I live mine, but you don't live yours.

The question is really; what do you do in real life to back up your widely-shared beliefs? Actions > Words. Same question goes for the right wing dullards on here.

There definitely is a lot of volume on these boards but I wonder if many 'walk the walk'. Isn't Willo very active politically? But I get the feeling he's seen as a bit of a stick in the mud by some rather than this focus being a good thing. Maybe in real life if anyone is overly preachy or vocal it's just off putting. Most British people have a make do and just get on with things mentality when it comes down to it. Anything too loud or pushy and you get a wide berth. We leave the loud mouth stuff to our American cousins for the most part. It's probably for the best.

Mary Glindon, Labour MP for North Tyneside. She voted against the same sex marriage act and is pro-life:

Is she a dangerous 'fundamentalist' or representative of the 'broad church' that is the Labour Party?

I think he would be great as PM. Can't agree with his views on abortion, even for rape victims. But at least he is honest.

Why is the child of a rape victim more deserving of being aborted?

A bit like Corbyn and the Labour manifesto you mean??

Rhys-Mogg is not the answer, unless you're asking the wrong question.

If, as a Tory, you don't like Corbyn, don't expect anyone else other than your kin to like Rhys-Mogg. The same candidate reflected in a mirror.

The irony being that both are very similar in a number of ways, extremely principled, intelligent and believe in their cause. Admirable qualities...and unusual in modern day politics.

Except that one is beholden and unable to be flexible because of religious dogma that is not in tune with the vast majority. Some might even say brainwashed.

Not an admirable quality in a high-ranking politician at all.

And to save Hedgie the effort - ' what about left dogma Corbyn...blah blah blah'

Exactly, left wingers are just as deluded as religious people.
