This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle If he did go to Everton I’d be done. I don’t think I’d bother at all this season. Since I have been out here I have started following the NRL anyway. I could take Zaha going to a big club, but if he is going to a mid table club I’d be genuinely gutted. No chance if Champions league there any time soon, genuinely what would be the point? I can’t help but think it’s just Everton trying to destabilise him for the first game of the season.

I'm sure there will have been encouragement from the player's agent for us to be still sniffing around. As I said earlier, we have money and don't necessarily need to be waiting around for Zaha if it wasn't at least a possibility for us.

Funding for the stadium has not been released to the public as yet so although the council have offered to help, it's unknown as to how the funding will work. £60m plus Bolasie for Zaha???

Palace fans would love to have either of those options To be honest, I'm surprised how well it's going for us. For years we've been in certain clubs shadows. We've a long way to go but there is a genuine feeling of anticipation around Goodison these days.

Correct, but I don't believe he will be a guaranteed starter there and as such would potentially have an unhappy player. Trouble is a lot of players these days don't seem to worried about not starting. Genuine question is he worth £40million?
