The reason was to put the sub heading into context. This is an opinion piece, with a pretty unusual opinion.

You seem incapable of avoiding ad hominems for very long.

Dishonest.

Do you spend time researching the politics and funding of sites with opinion pieces you agree with? Nope.

The only logical reason you would highlight that this is a conservative site (though libertarian would be the more accurate of your description) would be to provide a reason for why you think the opinion piece should be doubted.

It seems logical that variants will evolve in the platforms of least resistance, that of the unvaccinated, which is exactly what has been happening.

It also seems logical that variants evolve in the vaccinated more to survive. without all the vaccines we would have the same covid strain as when it was first discovered in 2019. But because of all the vaccines it has mutated to try to survive.

That is my theory anyway

Hmmm. We’ll see.

There’s nervous and there’s hysterical nonsense and lies.

'Go hard, go early.'

Harm small business and preside over a massive wealth transfer from poor to wealthy.

'And then relax quickly if it proves unnecessary.'

Yeah, thanks for temporarily taking your foot off of my head once the brain damage has already been done.

A virus will mutate because that's what they do. They could name another variant tomorrow and the next day if they wanted. The trick being played is that they focus on "transmissibility" which makes it sound worse. But a virus will reduce in it's symptoms to the host as it evolves as we are seeing with "Comicon". Then they become endemic.

But people are dying in large numbers now from both job adverse reactions (according to government statistics) and from untreated and undiagnosed illnesses like heart desease and cancer. The number of people dying right now is much worse than when we didn't have a "vaccine" (gene therapy). There are also very very concerning spikes in heart desease in young people and things like stillbirths and miscarriages.

By the way, are we all still deluding ourselves that a "case" is the same as an illness?

It seems many people have been scared beyond any rationality or are actually enjoying the drama of all this.

Indeed. It's a grift a scam. You only have to walk on the streets of Manhattan virtually every street corner has a pop up testing tent prolonging this bulls***. It's about control.
Add to that the 'Do as I say not as I do ' mantra of most of our elected officials.
For clarification I am not anti vax, in fact I've been vaccinated I also had a Hernia operation last month (Fantastic no bulls*** American affordable healthcare)& it's a pre requisite that you are negative & vaccinated.
We've all done our part (or 80%/90% of us )Re Staying home, closing our businesses (Some never to return)Isolated, vaxxed etc
ENOUGH of this Bulls***, like W12 says you can't keep locking down every time there is a 'Variant'

Offensive.

I don't need to spend time researching the politics and funding of any site I am familiar with, and that includes several on the right, like Infowars. If I don't know them, I do. That there are many more on the right that come under scrutiny is simply because of who is referencing them. There aren't many, if any, on the left posting links here.

Having read the sub-heading, I wanted to know the background of the source. I had heard of "Spiked" but wasn't familiar with it.

Perfectly logical, and perfectly justifiable. To anyone except those who, perhaps, only see what they want to see.

I don't doubt the piece at all! It's very clear where the guy is coming from, although I don't share his reasoning.

Calling me dishonest is, yet another, ad hominem.

Wow. You really have got it bad. Your article is from a David McLoone. The extra 18 deaths he mentions over a 7 week period could be for any number of reasons. I note he has made no adjustment for seasonality for example.

He is simply trying to imply a causality, even when saying the reasons for deaths are unpublished, due to being a raving conspiracy theorist

Presumably you go on that site a lot, I expect you feel strongly about abortion

Meanwhile the information is ridiculously easy to find about any adverse reaction to the vaccines.

You don't need to check left or right wing "sources" - just look at the governments own data, how it's being misrepresented or hidden and the many many world renowned socialists now destroying the government narrative.

It's disgraceful scaremongering of the worst kind.

Even the article itself says there is no established correlation between these statistics, which even if correct are on such a low base as to make statistical variance the most likely reason, let alone seasonal factors.

Someone needs to investigate the authenticity asap and ensure the truth is known.

Of course, it's really for US consumption as fodder for the so called "pro-life" lobby who are poised to claim a significant change in the law there.
